The lounge offers Pierre Hermé Paris desserts as part of its afternoon tea service, in addition to light meals. Guests can relax on the terrace seats, enjoying the soft light and the sound of flowing waterfalls, making for a tranquil and elegant experience​​.

This lounge operates daily from 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., with afternoon tea reservations available at specific times throughout the day. The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto Breakfast

To avoid the breakfast rush, it's advised to pre-book your time slot at check-in. During my stay, breakfast was served at the Japanese restaurant Mizuki, located in the basement, offering kaiseki, sushi, tempura, and teppanyaki from lunch to dinner, allowing for a full day of Japanese cuisine enjoyment.

Depending on the crowd, breakfast might also be available at La Locanda on the ground floor.

 

 

Upon entering the restaurant, you're greeted by an elegant space adorned with traditional Japanese crafts like lattice work and lacquer, reflecting meticulous attention to detail.The counter seats feature an 11-meter long table, fully adorned with Wajima lacquer, a traditional craft from Ishikawa Prefecture.

 

Before the meal, guests are offered health drinks, including "Kyoto grape juice" and "Okinawan Moromi vinegar."
